A total of 18 species of saproxylic beetle were identified, including three species of British Red Data Book status and two of Nationally Scarce status. Standing dead stems with bracket fungi are plentiful at the site, but there is a large age-gap between stands. The current condition assessment is 'favourable-maintained'.
