• Title: NatureScot Commissioned Report 481: Clyde Valley Green Network Survey
• Summary:This research was commissioned to provide a targeted-update of the Phase 1 habitat survey information for a 2 kilometre-wide corridor along the River Clyde Valley between Lanark and Hamilton/Motherwell. The primary purpose of the Clyde Valley Green Network Survey (CVGNS) is to provide up to date habitat information that can be used for Integrated Habitat Network (IHN) modelling. Updating the habitat information on which IHNs are based will help to protect and enhance the woodland, grassland and wetland ecological habitat networks in the Clyde Valley. The protection and enhancement of these networks will also contribute towards the implementation of the North and South Lanarkshire Local Biodiversity Action Plans (LBAPs) and the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy.
